   They depend on the tablet model. You can capture a screenshot using the Volume Down and Power buttons or the Power button and touch the tablet screen. Or you can do it without buttons. For example, using three-fingers swipe down the screen using the built-in (brand) app or programs from Google Play. Swipe three fingers down the screen to get a screenshot. The location of swipe is not crucial. This way is applied in MIUI.

Google Assistant
The laziest way is to use Google Assistant. Just say OK Google and then Take a screenshot. The gadget will do everything for you.
Use apps
You can use special applications for screenshots which are very much in Google Play: Screenshot Pro, Screenshot Easy, Screen Master, Private Screenshots, Screenshot touch etc... All these apps have instructions on how to use them to make a screenshot and save the picture.
Long screenshot
To take a long screenshot, just tap on the proper icon. It will appear after you have taken a normal screenshot. This method can also be called to screenshot with scroll.

   How do I share my screenshots?
   Depending on the Android version and the built-in UI, sending screenshots may differ. In lastest versions of Android (9 or 10), the quick actions menu will appear after you take a screenshot instantly. There you need to select the appropriate icon for sharing. Or just open the gallery app on your tablet.
   Where does my screenshot go on?
   If you can't find the screenshots you took, don't lose heart. The folders where the tablet saves screenshots and regular photo may be different. Again, it all depends on custom shells. A pure Android throws pictures into the gallery (DCIM). Other shells can save screenshots to a separate folder for your usability.
